The Recombinant c Met Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C113323) against c Met. The proto-oncogene MET product is the hepatocyte growth factor receptor and encodes tyrosine-kinase activity. The primary single chain precursor protein is post-translationally cleaved to produce the alpha and beta subunits, which are disulfide linked to form the mature receptor. Various mutations in the MET gene are associated with papillary renal carcinoma. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of K562, C6, 3T3 and IF analysis of Human lung cancer, Hela. The target is localized to the membrane.
