Recombinant c-Maf Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant c-Maf Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C431383) against c-Maf. Transcription factor Maf (encoded by MAF) is a DNA-binding, leucine zipper-containing transcription factor that acts as a homodimer or as a heterodimer. Depending on the binding site and binding partner, the encoded protein can be a transcriptional activator or repressor. This protein plays a role in the regulation of several cellular processes, including embryonic lens fiber cell development, increased T-cell susceptibility to apoptosis, and chondrocyte terminal differentiation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Rat brain, Mouse brain. The target is localized to the nucleus.
