Recombinant Calreticulin Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant Calreticulin Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110656) against Calreticulin. Calreticulin is a multifunctional protein that acts as a major Ca(2+)-binding (storage) protein in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum. It is also found in the nucleus, suggesting that it may have a role in transcription regulation. Calreticulin binds to the synthetic peptide KLGFFKR, which is almost identical to an amino acid sequence in the DNA-binding domain of the superfamily of nuclear receptors. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of NIH-3T3 and IHC analysis of Human kidney tissue, Rat stomach. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
