The Recombinant Caspase-3 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111000) against Caspase-3. This gene encodes a protein which is a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family. Sequential activation of caspases plays a central role in the execution-phase of cell apoptosis. Caspases exist as inactive proenzymes which undergo proteolytic processing at conserved aspartic residues to produce two subunits, large and small, that dimerize to form the active enzyme. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Hela. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
