The Recombinant Catalase Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C123328) against Catalase. This gene encodes catalase, a key antioxidant enzyme in the bodies defense against oxidative stress. Catalase is a heme enzyme that is present in the peroxisome of nearly all aerobic cells. Catalase converts the reactive oxygen species hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen and thereby mitigates the toxic effects of hydrogen peroxide. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC-P applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of K562, Hela and IHC analysis of Human breast cancer. The target is localized to the peroxisome.
