The Recombinant CD47 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C331557) against CD47. CD47 has a role in both cell adhesion by acting as an adhesion receptor for THBS1 on platelets, and in the modulation of integrins. CD47 plays an important role in memory formation and synaptic plasticity in the hippocampus. CD47 is a receptor for SIRPA, binding to which prevents maturation of immature dendritic cells and inhibits cytokine production by mature dendritic cells. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HepG2, Jurkat, 293T, A549, U-2 OS, Molt4, HL-60. The target is localized to the cell membrane.
