Recombinant CD8a/Lyt2 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant CD8a/Lyt2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110004) against CD8A. The CD8 antigen is a cell surface glycoprotein found on most cytotoxic T lymphocytes that mediates efficient cell-cell interactions within the immune system. The CD8 antigen acts as a coreceptor with the T-cell receptor on the T lymphocyte to recognize antigens displayed by an antigen presenting cell in the context of class I MHC molecules. The coreceptor functions as either a homodimer composed of two alpha chains or as a heterodimer composed of one alpha and one beta chain. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HUT-78, MOLT-4, Jurkat, IHC analysis of Human tonsil and IF analysis of Human tonsil. The target is localized to the cell membrane, secreted.
