The Recombinant CDK1/Cdc2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111590) against CDK1/Cdc2. CDC2, also named as CDK1, belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. The entry of eukaryotic cells into mitosis is regulated by cdc2 kinase activation, a process controlled at several steps including cyclin binding and phosphorylation of cdc2 at Thr161. However, the critical regulatory step in activating cdc2 during progression into mitosis appears to be dephosphorylation of cdc2 at Thr14 and Tyr15. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse, Rat and African green monkey samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and FCM applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A20, BRL, Rat brain, COS-7, HeLa, A431, IHC analysis of Human tonsil, IF analysis of HeLa and FCM analysis of A20, HeLa. The target is localized to the cytoskeleton, cytoplasm, nucleus, mitochondrion.
