CDK2(Cyclin-dependent kinase 2) is also named as CDKN2 and belongs to the protein kinase superfamily, CMGC Ser/Thr protein kinase family, CDC2/CDKX subfamily. It is involved in the control of the cell cycle; essential for meiosis, but dispensable for mitosis. It has 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Rat and Hamster samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Jurkat, C6, CHO-K1, Hela and IF analysis of Human tonsil, Hela. The target is localized to the cytoskeleton, centrosome, cytosol, endosome, nucleus, cajal body, nucleoplasm, nucleus, other locations: chromosome, telomeric region, condensed chromosome, cyclin A1-CDK2 complex, cyclin A2-CDK2 complex, cyclin E1-CDK2 complex, cyclin E2-CDK2 complex, cyclin-dependent protein kinase holoenzyme complex, cytoplasm, transcription factor complex, x chromosome, y chromosome.
