Recombinant CLPP Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant CLPP Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C131119) against CLPP. Protease component of the Clp complex that cleaves peptides and various proteins in an ATP-dependent process. Has low peptidase activity in the absence of CLPX. The Clp complex can degrade CSN1S1, CSN2 and CSN3, as well as synthetic peptides (in vitro) and may be responsible for a fairly general and central housekeeping function rather than for the degradation of specific substrates. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HepG2, 293T, Mouse skeletal muscel, Rat liver. The target is localized to the mitochondrion.
