Recombinant DDX4 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant DDX4 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110920) against DDX4. DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. They are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving alteration of RNA secondary structure such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly. Based on their distribution patterns, some members of this family are believed to be involved in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Mouse testis. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, cytoplasm, perinuclear region, component of the meiotic nuage, also named p granule, a germ-cell-specific organelle required to repress transposon activity during meiosis.
