Recombinant Dnmt1 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant Dnmt1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110462) against DNMT1. This gene encodes an enzyme that transfers methyl groups to cytosine nucleotides of genomic DNA. This protein is the major enzyme responsible for maintaining methylation patterns following DNA replication and shows a preference for hemi-methylated DNA. Methylation of DNA is an important component of mammalian epigenetic gene regulation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Jurkat. The target is localized to the nucleus.
