The Recombinant Doublecortin Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110923) against Doublecortin. This gene encodes a member of the doublecortin family. The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic protein and contains two doublecortin domains, which bind microtubules. In the developing cortex, cortical neurons must migrate over long distances to reach the site of their final differentiation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of SH-SY5Y. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, cell projection, neuron projection, localizes at neurite tips.
