The Recombinant E-Cadherin/CDH1/E-cad/CD324 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C310021) against CDH1. This gene encodes a classical cadherin of the cadherin superfamily. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, at least one of which encodes a preproprotein that is proteolytically processed to generate the mature glycoprotein. This calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion protein is comprised of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region and a highly conserved cytoplasmic tail. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, ICC/IF and FC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A431, MCF-7, HepG2, Caco-2, IHC analysis of Human liver, Human breast cancer and IF analysis of MCF-7. The target is localized to the cell membrane, endosome, Golgi apparatus, cytoplasm.
