The Recombinant E-Cadherin Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C131324) against E-Cadherin. Cadherins are calcium-dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells; cadherins may thus contribute to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types. CDH1 is involved in mechanisms regulating cell-cell adhesions, mobility and proliferation of epithelial cells. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa (Negative control), T-47D, MCF-7, HT-29, Mouse stomach, Rat stomach and IP analysis of MCF-7 cells extracts. The target is localized to the membrane.
