Recombinant eIF4B Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant eIF4B Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C310267) against eIF4B. Functions in close association with EIF4-F and EIF4-A. cRequired for the binding of mRNA to ribosomes. Binds near the 5'-terminal cap of mRNA in presence of EIF-4F and ATP. Promotes the ATPase activity and the ATP-dependent RNA unwinding activity of both EIF4-A and EIF4-F., similarity:Contains 1 RRM (RNA recognition motif) domain., subunit:Self-associates and interacts with EIF3 p170 subunit. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, K562, A549, MCF-7, HepG2, Jurkat. The target is localized to the cytosol, polysome, eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4f complex, dendrite, neuronal cell body.
