The Recombinant ELP3 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111196) against ELP3. Catalytic tRNA acetyltransferase subunit of the RNA polymerase II elongator complex, which is a component of the RNA polymerase II (Pol II) holoenzyme and is involved in transcriptional elongation. The elongator complex is required for multiple tRNA modifications, including mcm5U (5-methoxycarbonylmethyl uridine), mcm5s2U (5-methoxycarbonylmethyl-2-thiouridine), and ncm5U (5-carbamoylmethyl uridine). In the elongator complex, acts as a tRNA uridine(34) acetyltransferase by mediating formation of carboxymethyluridine in the wobble base at position 34 in tRNAs. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, K562, Mouse brain, Raw264.7, IHC analysis of Human tonsil, Mouse testis and IF analysis of HeLa. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, nucleus.
