Recombinant ErbB3/HER3 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant ErbB3/HER3 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C171449) against ErbB3/HER3. HER3/ErbB3 is a member of the ErbB receptor protein tyrosine kinase family, but it lacks tyrosine kinase activity. Tyrosine phosphorylation of ErbB3 depends on its association with other ErbB tyrosine kinases. Upon ligand binding, heterodimers form between ErbB3 and other ErbB proteins, and ErbB3 is phosphorylated on tyrosine residues by the activated ErbB kinase. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of 4T1, T47D, Rat skin and IF analysis of HeLa. The target is localized to the membrane, secreted.
