The Recombinant FABP1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C121403) against FABP1. FABP-1 is the fatty acid binding protein found in liver. Fatty acid binding proteins are a family of small, highly conserved, cytoplasmic proteins that bind long-chain fatty acids and other hydrophobic ligands. This protein and FABP6 (the ileal fatty acid binding protein) are also able to bind bile acids. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Human liver, Mouse liver, Rat liver and IHC analysis of Human liver cancer, Mouse liver, Rat liver. The target is localized to the cytoplasm (mainly), nucleus.
