Fatty acid synthetase is a multifunctional enzyme that catalyzes the de novo biosynthesis of long-chain saturated fatty acids starting from acetyl-CoA and malonyl-CoA in the presence of NADPH. This multifunctional protein contains 7 catalytic activities and a site for the binding of the prosthetic group 4'-phosphopantetheine of the acyl carrier protein ([ACP]) domain. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, FCM and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, 293T, A549, HepG2, MOLT-4, PC-3, IHC analysis of Human liver, Human lung adenocarcinoma, Mouse liver, Rat liver, FCM analysis of A549 and IP analysis of HeLa cells extracts.
