The Recombinant GIRK2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C531593) against GIRK2. GIRK2 is a member of G protein-coupled inwardly rectifying potassium channel family proteins (GIRKs). GIRK family proteins allow potassium to flow into the cell and therefore control cellular excitability in the central nervous system, heart, and pancreas. Activation of most GIRK channels requires heterologous subunit assembly and the presence of ATP. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Mouse samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Mouse liver (Negative control), Mouse brain. The target is localized to the cell membrane.
