Recombinant GPNMB Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant GPNMB Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C221163) against GPNMB. The protein is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein which shows homology to the pMEL17 precursor, a melanocyte-specific protein. GPNMB shows expression in the lowly metastatic human melanoma cell lines and xenografts but does not show expression in the highly metastatic cell lines. GPNMB may be involved in growth delay and reduction of metastatic potential. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human and Mouse samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC and FCM applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A375, B16-F0, EL4.IL-2, HeLa, IHC analysis of Human tonsil, Mouse small intestine and FCM analysis of A375, EL4. The target is localized to the membrane, endosome.
