Human Interleukin7A/IL7A Recombinant Protein

Interleukin-17 is a potent pro-inflammatory cytokine produced by activated memory T cells. Humans and mice both have at least six members of the IL-17 family. IL-17 has the potential to cause joint inflammation and bone and cartilage deterioration, owing to its similarities with IL-1 and TNF-alpha. This cytokine is found in synovial fluids of patients with rheumatoid arthritis; and produced by rheumatoid arthritis synovium. It increases IL-6 production; promotes cartilage degradation and collagen synthesis, while inhibiting cartilage formation by synovium and cartilage, and proteoglycan production in the tissue. In addition, IL-17 is also linked to increased bone breakdown and reduced formation. Interleukin-17 (IL-17) inhibition with specific antagonists inhibits cartilage and bone deterioration. Human Interleukin7A/IL7A Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
