Human LAIR2/CD306 Recombinant Protein
CD306 is a cell surface glycoprotein from the leukocyte-associated immunoglobulinlike receptor 2 (LAIR2) family. It is a soluble receptor that binds to many collagen molecules in a hydroxyproline-dependent manner. LALR2 is an immunoglobulin superfamily member that was identified as similar to LAIR1, a mononuclear leukocyte inhibitory receptor. LAIR2 is thought to be secreted and may help modulate mucosal tolerance. Soluble LAIR2 competes with human LAIR1 for binding to collagens and LAIR1 cross-linking, limiting its inhibitory potential. LAIR2 is thought to act as an immunoregulatory protein. Human LAIR2/CD306 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
