Human TGFB3 Recombinant Protein

Transforming growth factor beta 3(TGFB3) is a member of a TGF -beta superfamily which is defined by their structural and functional similarities. TGF-beta3 is produced in a complex with LAP. TGF-beta 3 becomes activated after cleavage by plasmin, matrix metalloproteases (MMPs), thrombospondin -1, and a subset of integrins. It binds strongly to TGF-beta RII, a type II serine/threonine kinase receptor. TGFB3 is key in cell differentiation, embryogenesis, and development. It's been linked to the regulation of molecules involved in cell adhesion and ECM formation during palate development. Without TGF-beta 3, humans develop a cleft palate. Human TGFB3 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
