The Recombinant ILK Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110794) against ILK. This gene encodes a protein with a kinase-like domain and four ankyrin-like repeats. The encoded protein associates at the cell membrane with the cytoplasmic domain of beta integrins, where it regulates integrin-mediated signal transduction. Activity of this protein is important in the epithelial to mesenchymal transition, and over-expression of this gene is implicated in tumor growth and metastasis. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of C6 and IHC analysis of Human kidney. The target is localized to the cell junction, focal adhesion, Cell membrane; Peripheral membrane protein; Cytoplasmic side, cell projection, lamellipodium, cytoplasm, myofibril, sarcomere.
