The Recombinant IMPDH2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C271188) against IMPDH2. Inosine-5'-monophosphate dehydrogenase 2, also known as IMP dehydrogenase 2, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the IMPDH2 gene.IMP dehydrogenase 2 is the rate-limiting enzyme in the de novo guanine nucleotide biosynthesis. It is thus involved in maintaining cellular guanine deoxy- and ribonucleotide pools needed for DNA and RNA synthesis. IMPDH2 catalyzes the NAD-dependent oxidation of inosine-5'-monophosphate into xanthine-5'-monophosphate, which is then converted into guanosine-5'-monophosphate. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human and Mouse samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IF and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, MCF-7, 4T1, HepG2, IF analysis of NIH/3T3 and IP analysis of HeLa cells extracts. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, nucleus.
