The Recombinant IMPDH2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C123358) against IMPDH2. This gene encodes the rate-limiting enzyme in the de novo guanine nucleotide biosynthesis. It is thus involved in maintaining cellular guanine deoxy- and ribonucleotide pools needed for DNA and RNA synthesis. The encoded protein catalyzes the NAD-dependent oxidation of inosine-5'-monophosphate into xanthine-5'-monophosphate, which is then converted into guanosine-5'-monophosphate. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC-P applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Hela, A549, HL-60, U20S, C6 and IHC analysis of Human breast cancer. The target is localized to the cytosol, extracellular region or secreted, extracellular exosome, extracellular region, nucleus, peroxisome, peroxisomal membrane, other locations: cytoplasm, ficolin-1-rich granule lumen, membrane, secretory granule lumen.
