The Recombinant ING5 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C321189) against ING5. Inhibitor of growth protein 5 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ING5 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is similar to ING1, a tumor suppressor protein that can interact with TP53, inhibit cell growth, and induce apoptosis. This protein contains a PHD-finger, which is a common motif in proteins involved in chromatin remodeling. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HepG2, MCF-7 and IHC analysis of Human colon, Human lung squamous carcinoma. The target is localized to the chromosome, nucleus.
