The Recombinant JNK Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C473263) against JNK. MAPK8(Mitogen-activated protein kinase 8) is also named as JNK1, PRKM8, SAPK1, SAPK1C and belongs to the MAP kinase subfamily. MAPK8 is activated by dual phosphorylation at a Thr-Pro-Tyr motif during response to UV light. MAPK8 functions to phosphorylate c-Jun at N-terminal serine regulatory sites of Ser-63 and Ser-73, mapping within the transactivation domain. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of C6, 3T3 and IF analysis of Hela. The target is localized to the cytosol, mitochondrion, nucleus, nucleoplasm, nucleus, other locations: axon, basal dendrite, cytoplasm, neuron projection.
