Recombinant MAPKAPK-2 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant MAPKAPK-2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C170272) against MAPKAPK-2. This gene encodes a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. This kinase is regulated through direct phosphorylation by p38 MAP kinase. In conjunction with p38 MAP kinase, this kinase is known to be involved in many cellular processes including stress and inflammatory responses, nuclear export, gene expression regulation and cell proliferation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, A549, 293T, HepG2, SW480, A431, Mouse spleen, Rat skeletal muscle, Rat spleen. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, nucleus, phosphorylation and subsequent activation releases the autoinhibitory helix, resulting in the export from the nucleus into the cytoplasm.
