Recombinant MBD2 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant MBD2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111526) against MBD2. MBD2, also named as DMTase, binds CpG islands in promoters where the DNA is methylated at position 5 of cytosine within CpG dinucleotides. MBD2 binds hemi-methylated DNA as well. It recruits histone deacetylases and DNA methyltransferases. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, ICC/IF, FC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of C6, 3T3, HeLa, Rat brain, IHC analysis of Human tonsil and IF analysis of HL-60, HeLa. The target is localized to the nucleus.
