Recombinant MCM3 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant MCM3 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C121220) against MCM3. Acts as component of the MCM2-7 complex (MCM complex) which is the putative replicative helicase essential for 'once per cell cycle' DNA replication initiation and elongation in eukaryotic cells. The active ATPase sites in the MCM2-7 ring are formed through the interaction surfaces of two neighboring subunits such that a critical structure of a conserved arginine finger motif is provided in trans relative to the ATP-binding site of the Walker A box of the adjacent subunit. The six ATPase active sites, however, are likely to contribute differentially to the complex helicase activity. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, K562, HepG2, PC-12, NIH-3T3, IHC analysis of Human colon, Human tonsil, Mouse colon and IP analysis of HeLa cells extracts. The target is localized to the nucleus.
