The Recombinant NFIB Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111571) against NFIB. NFIB is essential for proper brain development and transcription activates GFAP. NFIB recognizes and binds the palindromic sequence 5'-TTGGCNNNNNGCCAA-3' present in viral and cellular promoters and in the origin of replication of adenovirus type 2. These proteins are individually capable of activating transcription and replication. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of C6, HeLa and IF analysis of HeLa. The target is localized to the nucleus.
