The Recombinant Pan-Actin Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111241) against Pan-Actin. Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility and are ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells. In vertebrates 3 main groups of actin isoforms, alpha, beta and gamma have been identified. The alpha actins are found in muscle tissues and are a major constituent of the contractile apparatus. The beta and gamma actins coexist in most cell types as components of the cytoskeleton and as mediators of internal cell motility. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and FCM applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, Jurkat, HEK293, NIH/3T3, C2C12, Mouse brain, Rat brain, IHC analysis of Human prostate hyperplasia, Human skeletal muscle, Mouse cardiac muscle, Rat stomach, IF analysis of HeLa, A431, NIH/3T3 and FCM analysis of Jurkat. The target is localized to the cytoskeleton.
