Has significant histone acetyltransferase activity with core histones (H3 and H4), and also with nucleosome core particles. Also acetylates non-histone proteins, such as ACLY, PLK4, RRP9/U3-55K and TBX5. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, A431, HFF-1 and IP analysis of HeLa cells extracts. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, nucleus.
