The Recombinant PDGFR-α Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C170429) against PDGFR-α. This gene encodes a cell surface tyrosine kinase receptor for members of the platelet-derived growth factor family. These growth factors are mitogens for cells of mesenchymal origin. The identity of the growth factor bound to a receptor monomer determines whether the functional receptor is a homodimer or a heterodimer, composed of both platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha and beta polypeptides. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of MG-63. The target is localized to the cell membrane, Single-pass type I membrane protein, cell projection, cilium, Golgi apparatus.
