The Recombinant PDHA1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111430) against PDHA1. PDHA1, also named as PHE1A, is one of the 3 enzymes of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex. It is a nuclear-encoded mitochondrial matrix multienzyme complex that provides the primary link between glycolysis and the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle by catalyzing the irreversible conversion of pyruvate into acetyl-CoA. Defects in PDHA1 are a cause of pyruvate dehydrogenase E1-alpha deficiency (PDHAD) and X-linked Leigh syndrome (X-LS). Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of C6, 3T3 and IF analysis of HeLa. The target is localized to the mitochondrion.
