The Recombinant Peripherin Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111520) against Peripherin. Peripherin is a neuron-specific intermediate filament protein that is particularly expressed in peripheral nervous system. It is used to study peripheral nerve development and regeneration, as it is highly expressed during elongation of axon. Peripherin is a routine marker for unmyelinated neurons in trigeminal ganglion (TG) and the dorsal root ganglion (DRG). Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Neuro-2a, C2C12. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
