The Recombinant Peroxiredoxin 1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110591) against Peroxiredoxin 1. This gene encodes a member of the peroxiredoxin family of antioxidant enzymes, which reduce hydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides. The encoded protein may play an antioxidant protective role in cells, and may contribute to the antiviral activity of CD8(+) T-cells. This protein may have a proliferative effect and play a role in cancer development or progression. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HEK293. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
