The Recombinant Phospho-Stat6 (Tyr641) Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C120063) against Stat6 (Tyr641). The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the STAT family of transcription factors. In response to cytokines and growth factors, STAT family members are phosphorylated by the receptor associated kinases, and then form homo- or heterodimers that translocate to the cell nucleus where they act as transcription activators. This protein plays a central role in exerting IL4 mediated biological responses. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P, FC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Hela, Raw264.7 and IHC analysis of Mouse lung. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, nucleus.
