The Recombinant Phospho-YAP1 (Ser127) Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C311701) against YAP1 (Ser127). Transcriptional regulator which can act both as a coactivator and a corepressor and is the critical downstream regulatory target in the Hippo signaling pathway that plays a pivotal role in organ size control and tumor suppression by restricting proliferation and promoting apoptosis. The core of this pathway is composed of a kinase cascade wherein MST1/MST2, in complex with its regulatory protein SAV1, phosphorylates and activates LATS1/2 in complex with its regulatory protein MOB1, which in turn phosphorylates and inactivates YAP1 oncoprotein. Plays a key role to control cell proliferation in response to cell contact. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and FCM applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, PANC-1, IHC analysis of Human colon cancer, IF analysis of MCF-7 and FCM analysis of PANC-1. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, nucleus.
