Recombinant PKR Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant PKR Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C433383) against PKR. The protein encoded by this gene is a serine/threonine protein kinase that is activated by autophosphorylation after binding to dsRNA. The activated form of the encoded protein can phosphorylate translation initiation factor EIF2S1, which in turn inhibits protein synthesis. This protein is also activated by manganese ions and heparin. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of C6, 3T3.
