Recombinant PLK1 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant PLK1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110297) against PLK1. The Ser/Thr protein kinase encoded by this gene belongs to the CDC5/Polo subfamily. It is highly expressed during mitosis and elevated levels are found in many different types of cancer. Depletion of this protein in cancer cells dramatically inhibited cell proliferation and induced apoptosis; hence, it is a target for cancer therapy. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Hela, K562, HepG2, JurKat, HT-29, Mouse testis, PC-12, Rat testis. The target is localized to the nucleus.
