The Recombinant PP1C beta Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C113384) against PP1C beta. The protein encoded by this gene is one of the three catalytic subunits of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1). PP1 is a serine/threonine specific protein phosphatase known to be involved in the regulation of a variety of cellular processes, such as cell division, glycogen metabolism, muscle contractility, protein synthesis, and HIV-1 viral transcription. Mouse studies suggest that PP1 functions as a suppressor of learning and memory. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of K562, Rat Rat Brain, C6, 3T3, Hela and IF analysis of Human colon cancer, Hela. The target is localized to the Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Nucleus, nucleoplasm. nucleus, nucleolus. Highly mobile in cells and can be relocalized through interaction with targeting subunits. In the presence of PPP1R8 relocalizes from the nucleus to nuclear speckles.
