Recombinant Rad51 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant Rad51 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111398) against Rad51. DNA repair protein RAD51 homolog 1 (Rad51) plays an important role in homologous strand exchange, a key step in DNA repair through homologous recombination (HR). Rad51 binds to single and double-stranded DNA and exhibits DNA-dependent ATPase activity. Rad51 catalyzes the recognition of homology and strand exchange between homologous DNA partners to form a joint molecule between a processed DNA break and the repair template. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of C6, 3T3, HeLa and IF analysis of Jurkat. The target is localized to the nucleus, cytoplasm.
