The Recombinant SA2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C121539) against SA2. SA2, also named as STAG2, is a component of cohesin complex, a complex required for the cohesion of sister chromatids after DNA replication. The cohesin complex may play a role in spindle pole assembly during mitosis. Mutations in STAG2 appear to be a first step in the transformation of a normal cell into a cancer cell. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of MCF-7, K562, C6, Neuro-2a and IHC analysis of Human colon, Human tonsil, Mouse spleen, Rat colon. The target is localized to the nucleus.
