The Recombinant SATB1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C321275) against SATB1. Crucial silencing factor contributing to the initiation of X inactivation mediated by Xist RNA that occurs during embryogenesis and in lymphoma. Binds to DNA at special AT-rich sequences, the consensus SATB1-binding sequence (CSBS), at nuclear matrix- or scaffold-associated regions. Transcriptional repressor controlling nuclear and viral gene expression in a phosphorylated and acetylated status-dependent manner, by binding to matrix attachment regions (MARs) of DNA and inducing a local chromatin-loop remodeling. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC and FCM applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Jurkat, THP-1, IHC analysis of Human tonsil and FCM analysis of Jurkat. The target is localized to the nucleus.
