Recombinant SATB1 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant SATB1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C141276) against SATB1. Crucial silencing factor contributing to the initiation of X inactivation mediated by Xist RNA that occurs during embryogenesis and in lymphoma (By similarity). Binds to DNA at special AT-rich sequences, the consensus SATB1-binding sequence (CSBS), at nuclear matrix- or scaffold-associated regions. Thought to recognize the sugar-phosphate structure of double-stranded DNA. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for IHC and IF applications. It has been validated by IHC analysis of Human ovarian cancer, Human tonsil, Mouse spleen, Rat spleen and IF analysis of Jurkat. The target is localized to the nucleus.
