Recombinant SFTPA1+SFTPA2 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant SFTPA1+SFTPA2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C121444) against SFTPA1+SFTPA2. Human SP-A is expressed in alveolar epithelial type II cells and in tracheal and bronchial submucosal gland cells in lung as well as in other tissues. SFTPA1(SP-A1) and SFTPA2(SP-A2) are expressed in the type II cells; SP-A2 is expressed in human tracheal and bronchial submucosal gland cells. The presence of SP-A in non-ciliated bronchiolar epithelial cells has been inconsistent for human lungs, but consistent positive staining of SP-A has been observed in the non-ciliated bronchiolar epithelial cells in rodents. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Human lung, Rat lung, Mouse lung and IHC analysis of Human lung. The target is localized to the extracellular matrix, secreted.
